MY PHILOSOPHY

Mamas need muscle more than most.

When you have little ones that depend on you, you can’t afford to be weak, tired, and in poor health. 

Society has decoupled exercise from pregnancy and early motherhood.

This leaves a generation of mothers without the strength and health they needed to thrive – for themselves and for their families.

What strong women know to be true

I hear you–there’ s a lot of voices out there competing for your attention when it comes to the science of better health. Let’s bust some of the biggest myths around exercise and nutrition first:

Exercise – even vigorous, strength-focused exercise – during pregnancy is safe and generally produces better outcomes for both moms & their babies.

Moms who exercise in early postpartum have a lower incidence of maternal depression, anxiety, and fatigue and report faster physical recoveries.

There is a huge gap between intention and action in perinatal fitness and nutrition – and the most-cited reason for this is a lack of consistent clinical advice in this area.
