We have a maternal strength crisis.

Pregnancy is the greatest missed opportunity for muscle & metabolism in women’s health – and it’s our bodies that pay the price.

Motherhood cannot be a time when we give up our muscle.

It’s time for a system correction. It’s time for action.

It’s time to rebuild motherhood.

Work With Me

I work at the intersection of muscle, mindset, and motherhood, showing moms the way to protect their long-term health in pregnancy and beyond.

Our understanding of women’s physiological capacity has evolved. It’s time that our guidance for pregnant and postpartum women advances with it.

MY PHILOSOPHY

When you have little ones that depend on you, you can’t afford to be weak, tired, and in poor health.

Society has created an archetype of maternal fragility. I reject that.

The goal of maternal care should go far beyond recovery. It should be resilience. Resilience implies preparation. Preparation implies training,

And training demands muscle.

I hear you–there’ s a lot of voices out there competing for your attention when it comes to the science of maternal health. Let’s bust some of the biggest fitness & nutrition myths first:

Exercise – even vigorous, strength-focused exercise – during pregnancy is safe and generally produces better outcomes for both moms & their babies.

Moms who exercise in early postpartum have a lower incidence of maternal depression, anxiety, and fatigue and report faster physical recoveries.

There is a huge gap between intention and action in perinatal fitness and nutrition – and the most-cited reason for this is a lack of consistent clinical advice in this area.

I’m a coach and clinician, so my life’s work is about helping you.
